Olivia is currently in the first year of a doctoral research program at the University of Leeds and the Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Translational Research Centre exploring the experiences of racialized healthcare staff in the UK National Health Service and the potential impact on the quality and safety of care.

 

Olivia's qualifications include a BSc Biomedical Science and MRes Inflammation: Cellular and Vascular Aspects.

 

She is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of minoritized healthcare staff, the reduction of preventable harm across healthcare systems, culture change, and developing interventions to address workforce inequities within diverse teams.
